The mission of the Women of the ELCA is threefold: to nurture growth in the faith, to build and support community, and to put witness into action through service to others. We proclaim peace and work in justice.
We support the national Women of the ELCA organization through offerings.
Regular offerings progive for the “core work” of Women of the ELCA.
The Lover Offering program is currently Lake Sumter Children’s Advocacy Center.
Designated gifts are time-specific support of mission ministries, program, outreach, publications, grants/scholarships, Triennial Conention and our annual percentage gift to the ELCA for worldwide ministries.
The Fellowship of the Least Coin is a world-wide movement of prayer for peace, justice & reconciliation. The collected coins are received at the May fellowship of Church Women United.
