Operation AttackOperation Attack (OA) is an all volunteer ministry located at Lakeview Presbyterian Church in St. Petersburg. The ministry is staffed primarily by members of the host congregation with support from 13 other diverse congregations in the area. 100% of all food, clothing and funds received are distributed directly to the clients of OA.
OA provides new and gently used clothing to needy school age children along with new socks and underwear. They also furnish a three day supply of food every three months for their clients who furnish a referral from a church, school or social agency. Food donations from the supporting congregations include canned fruit and vegetables, soup, meat, beans, pasta and sauce, rice, peanut butter, cereal and other nonperishable food items.
A group of seniors are invited to lunch at OA’s congregate dining site once a quarter. After lunch the seniors are entertained with Bingo and other games. Before leaving OA the seniors receive a bag of groceries and personal items.

St. Andrew Lutheran Church members have generously supported Operation Attack for many years. Every 4-6 weeks a large amount of food items are delivered to OA for their clients. With today’s economy these donations are more important than ever for this ministry to the less fortunate in our community.
